Orientation Day

Good Morning everyone ,Today is  first day for me waking up in UDRU dorm! I was assigned in room 214 with Yohana, the one from UNP my college mate , majoring math.We had breakfast together, I had a slice of bread and a cup of chocolate milk.   After that, I and my friends hurried to Faculty of Education  to attend Opening Ceremony of the project, Miss KIM who has responsibility in this program pick us .

We had many schedules. These are :

1.   Registration at first

2.   Presentation from presentation school.

       There are 4 schools and they are Ban Makkhaeng School, Satrirachinuthit School, Udonpichairakpittaya School, and Demonstration School Udon Thani Rajabhat University. I was assigned at Ban Makkhaeng School, the school having all grades from pre-school until high school. There is also special class for the students who need special education. The school have 150 teachers and 7 main building. I will tell you more when I had  observed the school by my first week.  Then we watched Udon Thani and UDRU video profile.

3. We met   Acting President of UDRU . We got warmly welcome from him.

 

4. We had lunch together with all participants of SEA-Teacher and Buddies. . There was  interesting menu such as Thai Capcay with medium cooked Shrimp, Thai Salad, and Fried Fish with sour and sweet sauce and also my favorite fruit Rambutan.

5. We played games finding buddy. Our buddy is one of student from UDRU who will help us aything here.In this game we should to guest our buddy base on clue we received. And I got clue " I have oval face and love to smile " ah it was difficult for me to find, but finally i found her. My buddy is frame.

 

6. We watched Thai traditional dance. Dancers were beutiful young ladies.

 

7. We had dinner together

8. The last we learned basic Thai language and Tahi Culture with Mom Kintana. Some students majoring thai language and our buddy help us to learn it. It was so hard for me to learn it. I could remember some words to intoduce my self, such as ( Sawaddhi kha' = Greeting ) , ( Kop khun kha' = thank you)(dik chan ce = nama saya) and etc, it has different alphabet with english and difficult to pronounce hahahha

My buddy helped me to recognize thai consonants.

The girl sat beside me who wearing white cardigan is my Buddy. Her name is Frame.
